Refund Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

We would rather have a happy customer than a reluctant one. This page explains when we will refund a subscription payment, how to ask, and what to expect.

In short

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. No lengthy justification required.

Try before you pay

Our free tier exists so you can judge the tool before spending anything. You can run scans, read the dashboard and download a report without entering card details. We encourage you to use it first — it is the surest way to know whether a paid plan will suit you.

The 14-day window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of any subscription charge, whether it is your first payment or a renewal. We do not ask you to prove a fault. If the tool is not right for you, that is reason enough.

Once a refund is issued, the paid features stop and the account returns to the free tier. Reports you have already downloaded remain yours to keep.

Refunds we will always give

These are honoured regardless of how long ago the charge was made.

Where a refund may not apply

We want to be straightforward about the exceptions rather than bury them:

How to request a refund

Send an email to techtipsall@techtipsall.com with:

We reply within two working days. Telling us the reason is optional, but it genuinely helps us improve the product.

How long it takes

Once approved, we issue the refund immediately through our payment partner, who acts as the merchant of record. The money is returned to the original payment method. Banks and card networks then take their own time to post it — commonly five to ten working days, occasionally longer for international cards. We have no way to speed up that final step, but we can send you confirmation that the refund left our side.

Cancelling instead of refunding

If you simply do not want to continue, you can cancel from your account settings at any time. Cancelling prevents the next charge and leaves your plan active until the end of the period you have already paid for. That is usually the better option if you are part-way through a month you have used.

Before you raise a chargeback

Please contact us first. A chargeback costs both sides time and money, and in most cases we can resolve the matter by email far more quickly. We have never refused a reasonable refund request, and we do not intend to start.

Your statutory rights

Consumer protection law in your country may give you rights beyond this policy. Nothing here reduces those rights. Where local law requires a longer cancellation window or a broader right to a refund, that law applies.

Changes to this policy

If we revise this policy, the date at the top will change. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
